Q. Do I need to be home when my cleaning crew is here?
A. It’s up to you. Most customers are comfortable leaving a key which we code and leave in our office. Others may leave a key in a specified location at their home or leave a door open. Still others prefer being home during their cleanings.
Q. Do you work on Saturdays?
A. If you are having an event at your home and are under a time constraint, we can make arrangements for a weekend appointment.
[ back top ]Carpet Cleaning
Q. Will my carpets and floors be protected during window cleaning?
A. A minimal amount of liquid is used during the window cleaning process, so drips are not a problem. Shoe coverings are worn by our crew so your floors and carpets will not be soiled.
Q. How should I prepare for my carpet cleaning?
A. It’s always helpful when small items like magazine rack and waste baskets are removed from the cleaning area.
Q. How long until I can walk on my newly cleaned carpets?
A. It depends on the time of year. In the winter, when your heat is on, drying time is about 3 hours. During more humid conditions, drying time can be up to 6 hours.
Q. Will my furniture be moved for carpet cleaning?
A. Some customers do not want specific items moved, such as computer and electronic equipment or a china cabinet. Instructions will be confirmed before your appointment.
[ back top ]Window Cleaning
Q. How should I prepare for my window cleaning?
A. Our crews can work around all window treatments and blinds so there is no need to remove them before your windows are cleaned. If you have any plants or ornaments on window sills, it would be best if they were removed before the windows are cleaned.
Q. I’m concerned about my shrubbery. Will your crew be careful?
A. Ladders are placed in a manner that will not harm your shrubbery or flower gardens.
Q. I’m having my windows cleaned. What happens if it rains?
A. Windows are still cleaned in the rain unless conditions are such that being on a ladder would create a dangerous situation. Also, thunder and lightning could delay the cleaning. Generally, the job can be rescheduled within 1-3 days.
